Certified Daring Way™ Facilitator (CDWF)
Change gets a jump start in a supportive environment. I believe with understanding, acceptance and commitment an individual thrives. Counseling encourages these things and more.
I like to think that I began my journey into the counseling field when I was a teenager growing up in Memphis, TN. My father was in recovery and I was active in Alateen, a support group for young people who’s family member lives with addiction. This is where I learned first hand that a life can be transformed and a family can find peace.
Fast forward to adulthood and 7 years as an Air force spouse. I had the most wonderful opportunity, while living in Italy, to serve active duty and their family members through the Air Force Aid Society. This program provided support for those experiencing loss and hardship while living overseas.
Several years later I would find myself in Tupelo, MS raising a family with my husband of 31 years. I realize that my passion is being with people who are brave enough to share their stories and those who have the courage to make changes that will enhance their life and the lives of those they love.
My professional title is Licensed Professional Counselor. I have well over 20 years of training and experience in the field of Mental Health. I meet people where they are on their journey and we go from there!
